GMV and Aurea Avionics have integrated the Seeker unmanned aerial system into the Talos command-and-control ecosystem and Dual-EIMOS mortar systems used by the Spanish Armed Forces. The Spanish-made platform, supplied by GMV and developed by Aurea Avionics, will provide airborne sensing for observation, target location and indirect-fire correction within a more connected sensor-to-shooter chain.
The integration links a tactical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance aircraft with fire-support and mortar systems already in service, giving units access to electro-optical and infrared imagery, autonomous target tracking and more than two hours of endurance. The arrangement is aimed at improving coordination between reconnaissance and effectors during indirect-fire missions.
Deliveries linked to the programme will continue through 2026 and 2027 and cover unmanned aerial vehicles, ground control systems and operator training. The scope of the roll-out and the contracting authority have not been disclosed in the available coverage, but the package ties together domestic UAS, command-and-control software and mortar effectors for Spanish military use.
