BermudAir will lease and operate one converted Embraer E190F from Regional One, becoming the world’s second operator of the E-Freighter and the first in the Americas. Embraer and Regional One disclosed the deal on 16 September 2026, positioning the Bermuda-based carrier’s freighter entry as an expansion beyond its passenger network.
The aircraft will be the first E-Freighter deployed in North America and the Caribbean. BermudAir currently serves ten destinations across the Caribbean, the United States and Canada with two E175s and two E190s, and the addition of the E190F extends its business into cargo operations.
Regional One has placed five firm orders for the E190F under the E-Freighter programme, and two converted aircraft have already been delivered and entered service. The deal gives the aircraft a visible foothold in the Americas market and adds another customer to Embraer’s passenger-to-freighter conversion line.
