Air Astana will resume scheduled flights to Dubai from Almaty on 1 October and from Astana on 2 October after a months-long suspension, restoring one of Kazakhstan’s key Gulf routes. The reinstated services will begin at reduced frequencies before being stepped up through October, with the carrier monitoring conditions in the Middle East and retaining the option to adjust the timetable if needed.
The Almaty–Dubai route will initially operate four times a week, rising to 12 weekly flights by the end of the month. The Astana–Dubai service will restart at three weekly flights and increase to 10 weekly departures by month-end.
The restart follows repeated extensions of the Dubai cancellation period, with flights previously paused through 30 September. For Air Astana, the resumption restores direct links from both of its main Kazakhstani hubs to a major leisure and business destination in the Gulf, while leaving the schedule conditional on regional stability.
