An Aeroflot flight attendant was injured during the landing rollout of flight SU1829 from Ganja, Azerbaijan, to Moscow Sheremetyevo after a container in a rear galley compartment came loose and struck her in the head. The Airbus A320, registered RA-73173, had 154 passengers and six crew members on board. No passengers or other crew were reported hurt, and the aircraft was arriving in Moscow on 12 September.
The injured crew member received immediate assistance from passengers with medical training before being taken to the airport medical unit and later hospitalised with suspected head trauma. The injury was described as a cut and bruise to the head. The sequence of events points to a cabin-securement or galley-stowage issue during braking after touchdown rather than a problem with the aircraft’s flight dynamics.
The compartment where the container had been stored was later found to be serviceable, leaving investigators to examine handling, securing procedures and loading practices. No official finding, airline statement or regulator comment was visible in the available material, and the reporting to date remains limited to secondary accounts.
