Nicolas Boltoukhine to lead Airbus Corporate Helicopters as Frederic Lemos exits

Airbus Corporate Helicopters has appointed Nicolas Boltoukhine as its new head, giving him responsibility for global strategy, operations and marketing across the corporate helicopter brand. He succeeds Frederic Lemos as Airbus moves to steer its VIP and business aviation rotorcraft business into its next phase of growth.

Boltoukhine is a dual-rated pilot with nearly four decades of aviation industry experience and more than 10,000 flight hours on rotary- and fixed-wing aircraft. Olivier Michalon, Airbus Helicopters’ executive vice-president for global business, praised his operational and commercial background.

ACH serves Airbus Helicopters’ corporate and VIP customer base, making the leadership change significant for the company’s high-end civil helicopter business and its worldwide customer-facing strategy. The move comes as Airbus continues to position the brand around growth in private and business aviation markets.
