Air France will move all of its New York-JFK operations to the new Terminal One and open a lounge of more than 29,000 square feet, set to become the largest in its international network. The two-level facility will host more than 400 guests and serve La Première and Business customers, Flying Blue Elite Plus members, and eligible KLM and SkyTeam travellers, with a separate area for Flying Blue Ultimate members.
The lounge will sit inside New Terminal One in New York and form part of Air France’s relocation to the revamped terminal. Its design, created with MARKS Brandimage, centres on French-gastronomy dining areas, a bar offering French wines and champagnes, and dedicated spaces for beauty treatments, relaxation and work. Air France also plans to use the move to provide a more seamless premium journey for long-haul passengers passing through JFK.
The opening is tied to the airline’s wider terminal shift, which is due to begin next year, but no exact launch date for the lounge has been disclosed. The project extends Air France’s premium ground product at one of its most important transatlantic gateways and strengthens its presence in the SkyTeam hub at JFK.
