Global Jet Capital sees business jet deals nearing $247bn through 2030

Global Jet Capital’s latest Business Jet Market Forecast projects total transactions in new and pre-owned business jets will reach $247 billion from 2026 through 2030, close to a quarter-trillion dollars. The outlook calls for average annual growth of 4.1% in dollar terms and 2.8% in transaction count, with heavy jets expected to lead expansion as buyers continue to prioritise range and cabin capacity.

The forecast also points to continued gains in deliveries across all size categories through 2030. Global Jet Capital expects 2026 to finish ahead of the previous year, with first-half transaction volume already 3.4% higher year on year and full-year deals projected to rise 3.6%. Over the five-year period, heavy-jet activity is set to outpace the wider market, with new heavy-jet transaction volume forecast up 3.3% and pre-owned heavy-jet volume up 4.9%.

The outlook suggests business aviation dealmaking should remain resilient despite tariff pressure and wider economic uncertainty. It gives manufacturers, brokers, financiers and lessors a fresh benchmark for planning inventories, pricing and capital allocation as demand stays concentrated in the largest aircraft categories.
