Red Bull secures plot for possible new hangar at Salzburg Airport

Red Bull has secured a building-rights allocation for a vacant plot at Salzburg Airport that could be developed into an additional hangar beside Hangar 7, where the Flying Bulls’ aircraft and the company’s car collection are already based. The site, previously occupied by Do & Co, sits directly next to the existing display and aviation complex and is being held under an arrangement with the airport landowner.

The airport confirmed the land became available again after the former lease ended in March, and Red Bull obtained the rights to use it for future construction. The group has not disclosed how it intends to use the site, while the plot’s strategic value lies in the extra room it could give the Flying Bulls fleet or a further car collection area. Hangar 7 already houses historic aircraft, Formula 1 cars and other Red Bull exhibits, making Salzburg a long-standing showcase base for the group’s aviation and motorsport assets.
