EPCOR, part of Air France Industries KLM Engineering & Maintenance, has signed a five-year agreement with Mexican cargo airline mas to support auxiliary power units on five Airbus A330 aircraft. The package covers GTCP331-350 APUs and is the first contract between the two companies, with EPCOR providing maintenance, leasing and predictive maintenance services.
The agreement includes APU shop-visit maintenance, replacement APU leasing, engineering support and Prognos for APU, EPCOR’s predictive maintenance tool. Access to EPCOR’s lease pool is intended to give mas greater flexibility during maintenance cycles and help keep the A330 fleet operating more smoothly.
The deal is tailored to mas’s operational requirements and is aimed at improving planning, reliability and overall operational performance. EPCOR’s APU support portfolio already spans several Airbus and Boeing platforms, and the new contract extends that activity into a first direct relationship with the cargo operator.
