Linfox Group has taken delivery of Australia’s first Airbus H160 helicopter in Melbourne, becoming the first operator in the country to put the twin-engine type into service. The aircraft will support the company’s business and corporate aviation operations across Australia, covering both major cities and regional destinations.
Airbus lists the H160 as certified for up to 12 passengers, while Linfox Aviation has chosen an eight-seat layout. The delivery gives Australia its first example of Airbus’s next-generation rotorcraft and adds a newer model to the country’s business aviation fleet.
The H160 was ordered by Linfox in 2025 and is intended for passenger transport missions rather than cargo work. The addition gives the group a helicopter suited to longer-range corporate flying and a more flexible option for travel between urban hubs and remote locations.
No pricing, registration details or delivery timetable beyond the handover were disclosed.
