Uzbekistan Airways extends Lufthansa Technik support deal to 2035

Uzbekistan Airways has extended its long-running partnership with Lufthansa Technik through a new agreement covering comprehensive component support for the carrier’s Boeing 787 Dreamliner and Airbus A320ceo/neo fleets until 2035. The deal includes component pool support and spare-part supply aimed at improving operational reliability and aircraft availability across the airline’s network.

The arrangement underpins Uzbekistan Airways’ fleet growth plans and its wider push to strengthen connectivity across Central Asia. It also builds on more than three decades of cooperation between the two companies.

No contract value was disclosed. The agreement did not specify the airline’s exact fleet size or a separate start date for the support programme beyond the 2035 end point.
