Flexjet has opened its first dedicated luxury terminal in Europe at Farnborough Airport in the UK, alongside a new 3,530-square-metre maintenance, repair and overhaul hangar. The $34 million terminal covers 2,098 square metres and is reserved for Flexjet owners and guests, with private hospitality, security and immigration handling housed in a separate ramp-side facility.
The Farnborough site expands Flexjet’s European infrastructure and gives the operator a dedicated base for fleet support in a major business aviation market. The MRO hangar is intended to support maintenance work across Flexjet’s global fleet and improve dispatch reliability, while the terminal creates a standalone arrival and departure experience away from the airport’s main passenger facilities.
Flexjet has positioned the project as a significant step in its wider international network, with the new facilities designed to strengthen both customer handling and operational control in the region. Farnborough Airport, long established as one of the UK’s leading business aviation hubs, now hosts Flexjet’s first European fixed-base operation and its dedicated maintenance capacity at the same location.
