Nach Übernahme von Nippon Cargo: Neue Frachtairline heißt ANA Nippon Cargo

ANA Holdings has named its new consolidated cargo airline ANA Nippon Cargo Airlines, with the shorter ANA Nippon Cargo brand to be used for the group’s freight business. The move follows the integration of three cargo units, including Nippon Cargo Airlines, and is tied to a wider restructuring that is scheduled to take effect on 1 April 2027.

The new brand gives ANA a single cargo identity at a time when the group is pulling together its freighter operations under one structure. Coverage of the plan indicates that the operating entity will continue to use the Nippon Cargo Airlines name when the integration formally takes place, while the new brand will be introduced alongside the reorganisation. The change follows ANA’s acquisition of Nippon Cargo Airlines and the earlier start of integration work across sales and warehouse operations.

For ANA, the consolidation is designed to streamline its air freight business and present a more unified customer-facing operation across Asia, Europe and North America. The group has already been moving cargo functions closer together, with the latest branding decision providing a clearer commercial identity ahead of the planned full integration.
