ANA Holdings to unify cargo operations under ANA Nippon Cargo brand

ANA Holdings will integrate its cargo business under the ANA Nippon Cargo brand, combining ANA Cargo, Nippon Cargo Airlines and NCA Japan into a single identity from 1 April 2027. The new company name will be ANA Nippon Cargo Airlines, with the rebrand intended to streamline the group’s domestic and international air freight operations in Japan.

The naming plan follows a broader restructuring of ANA’s freight activities and brings the three cargo entities under one commercial umbrella. ANA Nippon Cargo is intended to reflect group unity, the carrier’s “Nippon Quality” positioning and the operational expertise built across the existing businesses.

The brand change comes first, while the company name change is expected later, in the second half of fiscal 2027 or after that point, subject to the necessary approvals. The integration is designed to strengthen the group’s cargo identity and align branding with a deeper operational consolidation in Japan’s air cargo market.
