Finnair has appointed Arti Zeighami as chief digital officer, effective 19 August 2026, and placed him on the airline’s executive board under chief executive Turkka Kuusisto. The move comes alongside a wider leadership update at the Helsinki-based carrier, with Kaarina Ståhlberg named senior vice president and general counsel from 31 August.
Zeighami succeeds Antti Kleemola, who remains available to support the handover until the end of September. He joins Finnair from Boston Consulting Group and previously served as chief data and analytics officer at H&M Group. The digital appointment forms part of a broader reshaping of Finnair’s leadership team, which also includes the legal function transition from Sami Sarelius to Ståhlberg. Finnair’s internal management update reflects an emphasis on digital capability and corporate governance as the airline continues to adjust its senior structure.
