Korean Air to resume Incheon–Oita winter service with A321neo

Korean Air will restore seasonal service between Seoul Incheon and Oita in Japan’s Kyushu region for the winter schedule, using Airbus A321neo aircraft with 182 seats. The four-times-weekly route is due to operate from 25 October 2026, with flights on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays, reopening a direct link to one of Japan’s key hot-spring destinations.

The schedule places departure from Incheon at 09:15 and arrival in Oita at 10:50, with the return sector leaving Oita at 12:00 and reaching Incheon at 13:45. The reinstatement gives Korean Air a fifth Kyushu destination, alongside Fukuoka, Kumamoto, Nagasaki and Kagoshima, and broadens its leisure network ahead of the peak winter travel period.

The A321neo will be arranged with eight Prestige Class seats and 174 Economy seats, matching a short-haul configuration suited to the route’s expected leisure demand. The seasonal pattern also restores direct access for Korean travellers to Oita Prefecture, which is known for its onsen resorts and domestic tourism appeal. The service is scheduled to continue through late March 2027.
