AAA Alpine Air Ambulance AG has received Swisstransplant’s Award for Outstanding Partnership 2026 for its organ-transport operations, with the honour presented at the Swisstransplant Symposium in Bern at the end of August. The recognition reflects AAA’s long-running role in time-critical logistics for transplant medicine, including the transport of donor organs, medical specialists and blood samples.
AAA has handled organ transport since 2012 and has served as Swisstransplant’s exclusive logistics partner since 2015. Over that period, the two organisations have coordinated and carried out thousands of transports, underlining the operational demands of moving organs within strict time limits. The award singles out the aviation and medical logistics link that supports Switzerland’s transplant network, where rapid dispatch and reliable coordination are essential to maintaining transplant chains.
