Air Dolomiti has unveiled the first Embraer E195 in a new livery that replaces its traditional turquoise branding with Lufthansa Group blue on key external elements, including the tail and fuselage logo. The Italian regional carrier will roll out the updated design gradually across incoming aircraft, aligning its fleet more closely with the Lufthansa Group while keeping existing jets in service unchanged for now.
The colour shift extends a wider branding update that began earlier this year, when Air Dolomiti moved from grey to blue crew uniforms and reduced turquoise to an accent role. Chief executive Steffen Harbarth linked the new visual identity to the airline’s place within the group, which operates a network centred on Italy and Germany. The first aircraft to carry the revised scheme is an Embraer E195, and the airline plans to introduce the look progressively as new deliveries arrive through 2028.
Air Dolomiti began a broader optical rebrand in 2019, and the latest update pushes the carrier further towards Lufthansa’s corporate visual language. Turquoise remains visible in some interior and service details, but the dominant external branding now follows Lufthansa Group’s core blue.
