IAI Aviation Group has launched Quick Turn Shop Visit capability for CFM LEAP engines and is targeting full overhaul capability before the end of 2026. The expansion lifts the company’s engine MRO offering for the narrowbody powerplant used on Airbus A320neo and Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, as global demand for LEAP maintenance capacity remains tight.
The move extends IAI Aviation Group’s role beyond basic support work into faster turnaround shop activity, a step aimed at helping airlines, lessors and engine owners reduce time on wing and secure shop access. Full overhaul capability is expected later this year, giving the business a broader service scope while the market continues to face constrained availability across the LEAP MRO segment.
No capacity figures or customer commitments were disclosed. The development comes as engine shops across the commercial aftermarket continue to manage heavy demand for next-generation narrowbody engines, where turnaround times and overhaul slots remain commercially critical.
