Flydubai warns of delays and diversions on Russia flights amid airspace disruptions

Flydubai is monitoring the situation around Russian airspace and may delay or divert some Russia-bound services as regional operating conditions remain fluid. The Dubai carrier’s warning comes as heightened drone activity and temporary restrictions continue to disrupt traffic to and from Moscow-area airports.

The airline has not moved to suspend Russia flights outright, but it is keeping schedules and routings under review. That leaves open the possibility of short-notice changes on a network that links Dubai with multiple Russian destinations and carries significant leisure and visiting-friends-and-relatives traffic.

The latest caution follows wider disruption affecting several carriers serving Russia, with some flights already cancelled, rerouted or turned back around Moscow. For flydubai, even limited operational changes can affect aircraft rotation, punctuality and passenger connections across its Russia schedule.
