Neos flies Boeing 737 Max to Greenland on charter work

Neos has begun charter services to Greenland with a Boeing 737 Max 8, using the type on flights between Paris-Charles-de-Gaulle, Kangerlussuaq and Nuuk. One round trip on 27 August linked Paris with Kangerlussuaq, while the aircraft EI-RZA later operated charter flights between Paris and Nuuk.

The Greenland operation gives Neos a niche Arctic charter role beyond its core holiday network. EI-RZA had arrived in Paris from Milan-Malpensa before the Greenland sector, indicating the service was more than a simple positioning move. The flights also highlight the operational limits and commercial specificity of Greenland traffic, where scheduled links are sparse and charter capacity remains the most practical option for European leisure demand.

Neos already uses the Boeing 737-8 MAX across short- and medium-haul flying, but the Greenland work extends that deployment into a more specialised market. The aircraft’s presence on Paris-Nuuk charters suggests the airline is willing to adapt fleet use to seasonal or ad hoc demand where larger widebody capacity is unnecessary.
