Flyadeal to Launch Daily Riyadh–Hyderabad Flights and Enter Indian Market in July 2026

Flyadeal, the low-cost carrier of Saudia Group, will enter the Indian market with the launch of a daily Riyadh–Hyderabad route from 1 July 2026. The new service marks the airline’s first scheduled operation between Saudi Arabia and India, after several years of operating dedicated Hajj and Umrah flights from multiple Indian cities.

The route will connect King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and Rajiv Gandhi International Airport in Hyderabad. Flights will be operated with Airbus A320neo aircraft configured in a single-class cabin with 186 economy seats, in line with Flyadeal’s all-economy low-cost model.

This launch is presented as the first step in a broader India strategy. Hyderabad is identified as the airline’s initial market in the country, with a second Indian destination to be announced. Management has previously outlined plans to serve up to six Indian cities by the end of 2026 from Flyadeal’s Saudi hubs, supported by the rapid growth of its all-A320 fleet.

The new service targets several key segments: non-resident Indian workers in the Gulf, Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage traffic, and wider visiting-friends-and-relatives and leisure demand between India and Saudi Arabia. The expansion aligns with Saudia Group’s role in supporting Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030 objectives to increase tourism, religious travel and international connectivity.
