Finnair has selected Liebherr-Aerospace to overhaul the nose landing gear systems on its Airbus A350 fleet, according to Liebherr. The maintenance work is scheduled to begin this year and run through 2034.
The overhaul campaign will be carried out at Liebherr-Aerospace’s facility in Lindenberg, Germany, where the company said all work will be performed in house. Liebherr described its role as combining original equipment manufacturer experience with maintenance, repair and overhaul capabilities for landing gear systems.
The agreement covers the nose landing gear on Finnair’s A350 aircraft, which are among the airline’s long-haul fleet. No financial terms were disclosed.
