Wellington Airport will begin a 14-month upgrade of its northern domestic lounge on 3 November, adding space, natural light, bathrooms, seating and a convenience offering. The refurbished area will also be designed to switch between domestic and international use, allowing the airport to adjust capacity during busy periods. The work will temporarily move some Jetstar departures to the southern end of the terminal; international flights will continue from the north.
