Wheels Up Signature revenue and membership surpass legacy business

Wheels Up Experience’s Signature revenue and membership base exceeded their legacy counterparts for the first time in the third quarter of 2026, as the Atlanta-based private aviation group continued shifting to a premium fleet and membership model. It reported more than 1,500 Signature members, up 130% year to date through September, while legacy memberships fell 62% after the company began winding down the older programmes and fleet in April.

The Signature count includes Custom Enterprise Solutions accounts modelled on the membership product. Signature fleets generated most of Wheels Up’s private-jet flight revenue in the quarter. Revenue from its Phenom and Challenger aircraft rose 120% year on year as the fleet grew from 24 to 43 aircraft; fleet utility increased 31%.

Third-quarter revenue fell 11% to $164.8 million, while total gross bookings declined 15% to $225.4 million. The company recorded a net loss of $89.4 million. Its reported flight completion rate was 99.3%, and on-time performance—arrivals within 30 minutes of schedule—was 86.4%.

Wheels Up also secured an additional $100 million revolving credit facility commitment from Delta Air Lines and ordered six new Embraer Phenom 300E aircraft, due for delivery in the third and fourth quarters of 2027.
