VSE Aviation has signed a two-year repair agreement with Jeju Air, South Korea’s largest low-cost carrier, expanding the airline’s component-maintenance support to a broader range of aircraft systems. The work will be carried out through VSE Aviation’s MRO facility in Miramar, Florida, covering accessories, avionics, fuel systems, harnesses, hydraulics, instruments, mechanical components, pneumatics and radio equipment.
The contract extends VSE Aviation’s aftermarket relationship with a major Asian low-cost operator and adds another cross-border maintenance channel into the US component repair market. For Jeju Air, the arrangement provides access to a wider repair scope across multiple aircraft component categories, supporting maintenance planning and parts availability.
VSE Aviation operates as an aftermarket services provider with component repair capability in commercial aviation, and the new agreement further broadens its MRO workload in Miramar. The deal also reflects continued reliance by airlines on outsourced component support to manage fleet maintenance costs and turnaround times.
