T’way Air to rebrand as Trinity Airways on 10 September

T’way Air will become Trinity Airways on 10 September, ending the 16-year T’way brand as South Korea’s low-cost carrier completes a full corporate rebrand. The change covers domestic and international services, while the TW airline code, flight numbers, schedules and ticket conditions remain unchanged. Website, mobile app and airport check-in counters will switch to the new name on the same date.

The transition follows regulatory approval from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport in May and the completion of domestic and overseas filing procedures. Existing bookings remain valid without any reissue or change process, reducing the risk of disruption for passengers and distribution systems.

The airline has already begun rolling out the new identity ahead of the formal switch, including a redesigned livery on a Boeing 737-8 and new crew uniforms. The move comes after ownership changes under Sono Trinity Group, formerly Daemyung Sono Group, and aligns the carrier’s public image with its new parent structure.
