TUI narrows FY2026 EBIT guidance as bookings improve

TUI has tightened its full-year underlying EBIT guidance for fiscal 2026 to 1.2 billion euros to 1.3 billion euros, from a prior range of 1.1 billion euros to 1.4 billion euros, after stronger demand in its holiday experiences business and better booking momentum in Markets + Airline. The group’s pre-close trading update came ahead of the September year-end and kept the focus on flexible capacity planning as late bookings continue to shape performance.

The revised outlook reflects a recovery in recent weeks after weaker summer bookings earlier in the period. TUI is not issuing a fresh revenue forecast, instead leaving guidance centred on profitability, with management pointing to continued resilience in leisure demand heading into the winter 2026/27 season.

Markets + Airline remains a key part of the update for aviation investors, as the segment’s booking trend feeds directly into flight capacity decisions. TUI continues to adjust capacity to demand, with the latest improvement in reservations helping support the narrower EBIT range.
