Thrive Aviation has launched a new fractional ownership programme in partnership with Arulean Air, a newly formed subsidiary of Honda Aircraft Company, in Las Vegas. The deal includes a minority investment from Arulean Air and starts with the HondaJet HA-420 and Bombardier Challenger 3500 as the first aircraft types in the fleet.
Thrive will manage and operate the programme, while Arulean Air acquires aircraft for the platform before transferring them into the fractional structure. The first two aircraft have already been delivered, and the initial rollout is aimed at the Western US. The programme is expected to expand over the coming decade, with planned annual additions of four to six HondaJets and two to four Challenger 3500s as demand grows.
The partnership gives Thrive a financing and fleet-access base for a longer-term expansion strategy in private aviation rather than a single fleet refresh. It also extends Honda Aircraft’s presence in the business aviation market through a dedicated investment vehicle tied directly to a fractional ownership model.
