Symmetry Crew Solutions is establishing an organised contract-pilot programme for Gulfstream operators, drawing on experienced pilots to provide flight departments with more consistent temporary and supplemental crew support. The company, founded by contract pilots, is presenting the initiative at NBAA-BACE 2026 as an alternative to ad hoc sourcing of individual Gulfstream-qualified pilots.
The programme is focused on improving consistency in contract-crew quality and operational support for flight departments using Gulfstream aircraft. Symmetry’s model brings together experienced Gulfstream contract pilots under a structured staffing approach, giving operators access to a more reliable pool when they require short-term, recurring or additional coverage.
The initiative responds to the difficulty of maintaining consistent standards when contract pilots are sourced independently for individual assignments. By centring its service on Gulfstream operations and the experience of pilots who have worked as contractors themselves, Symmetry aims to align crew support more closely with the requirements of business-aviation flight departments.
The company has not disclosed detailed screening criteria, fleet coverage, geographic scope, pricing, customer names or a specific launch timetable.
