Sun PhuQuoc Airways has set out a delivery timetable for eight Airbus A330 widebodies, including ex-American Airlines aircraft, with the first two due in Vietnam in September and expected to enter service immediately. A further A330 is scheduled for October, another for December, and the remaining four are lined up for delivery in the first four months of 2027.
The widebodies will support the carrier’s medium- and long-haul network plans from Phu Quoc as it pursues international growth. The airline has also linked the A330 programme to a broader fleet expansion target of 32 aircraft in 2026.
The schedule indicates that four of the eight A330s should be in the fleet by the end of this year, accelerating the startup carrier’s long-haul capability before the remainder arrives early next year. No registration details or final route assignments have been disclosed for the aircraft.
