Skyguide appoints Gilles Bloch-Morhange as finance and people chief

Swiss air navigation service provider Skyguide has appointed Gilles Bloch-Morhange as Chief Finance & People Officer, combining finance and human-resources responsibilities in one executive role. He will take over on 1 May 2027, when current CFO Nicole Leyre leaves after reaching the applicable age limit. The appointment completes a management restructuring that will reduce Skyguide’s executive board from nine members to five from 1 January 2027.

Leyre will remain in office until the end of April 2027 to support an orderly transition. She has been Skyguide’s CFO and an executive-board member since 2018. Hans Bracher, who has led human resources since 2012 and joined the executive board in 2015, will retire at the end of 2026. His responsibilities will be combined with the finance function under Bloch-Morhange.

Bloch-Morhange joined Skyguide in 2021 as Head of Strategy & Business Development. Since July 2025, he has served as interim Chief Business Development Officer and as an executive-board member. Before joining Skyguide, he held management positions at aviation IT and telecommunications provider SITA in Europe, Asia, and North and South America.

The streamlined management structure is intended to improve efficiency and sharpen Skyguide’s focus on its core business.
