The increase amounts to about RMB 11.89 billion and marks a substantial adjustment to the carrier’s legal capital base.
The change was captured in company-record data for Shenzhen Airlines Co., Ltd., where the legal representative is listed as Li Shuxing. Founded in 1989, the airline operates scheduled and non-scheduled passenger services as well as cargo, mail and baggage transport.
No operational announcement accompanied the filing, but the size of the capital increase is notable for a major Chinese carrier in a capital-intensive industry. A larger registered capital base can improve financial flexibility for fleet-related investment, expansion planning and broader balance-sheet management, although the filing itself does not specify how the funds will be used.
