Ramco Systems has signed a memorandum of understanding with Safran Helicopter Engines to connect Safran engine data directly with Ramco Aviation Software. The integration will cover helicopter engine configuration, usage metrics and maintenance events, with information flowing into Ramco’s Maintenance Information System after shop visits.
The companies are targeting less manual data entry for operators and better quality, accuracy and consistency in maintenance records used for airworthiness management and planning. Safran Helicopter Engines is also expected to award Ramco Aviation Software its EngineLife Connect label, which identifies compatibility with Safran products and services. The collaboration centres on establishing reliable two-way data exchange and aligned operational processes between the two systems.
