RAVE Aerospace plans to demonstrate its in-flight entertainment and connectivity platform and AI-enabled passenger features at APEX FTE EXPO Asia in Singapore on 18–19 November. The showcase at booth 313, Marina Bay Sands, will include RAVE OS 2, the Harmony user interface, developer tools and an AI-powered natural-language search and conversational interface. The products are intended to let airlines and technology partners develop onboard applications and services across generations of hardware.
RAVE’s planned demonstration will also feature a Developer Suite with a software development kit and application programming interfaces, an App Marketplace framework, and the company’s RAVE 5 onboard AI engine. The engine is designed to connect media content with flight data and personalisation services. RAVE describes RAVE OS 2 as an open architecture that can accommodate new applications and digital services without requiring replacement of the underlying hardware generation. Harmony is intended to provide a consistent interface across multiple generations of onboard equipment.
The company is presenting the platform as a means to update passenger services and explore ancillary revenue opportunities. The announcement does not identify customer deployments or provide quantified results for the products. RAVE also plans partner demonstrations, but has not named the partners or specified what they will show.
