Oman Air and Finnair have agreed a codeshare partnership covering connections between Oman, Finland, Europe and Australia. The arrangement gives Oman Air customers access to Helsinki via London Heathrow, where the Muscat-based carrier operates 11 weekly flights, and to Melbourne via Bangkok, served twice daily by Oman Air. It is the airline’s first new codeshare since joining oneworld in June 2025.
The agreement also covers Finnair-operated flights to Helsinki from Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, Milan and Rome. The arrangement will allow passengers to combine flights across the two networks and connect through Finnair’s Helsinki hub without Oman Air operating every sector.
Customers of both airlines will receive applicable oneworld recognition, including eligible loyalty-programme tier privileges and service benefits. The carriers have described the agreement as the first phase of a broader collaboration, with further opportunities for expansion under consideration. Details of the precise ticket-sale launch date, flight numbers, booking-class rules and marketing-code allocation were not disclosed.
