LATAM Airlines Brasil has received its first Embraer E195-E2 at Embraer’s facility in São José dos Campos, São Paulo, beginning a fleet expansion that will support 42 domestic routes between November 2026 and March 2027. The first 14 aircraft will introduce eight new links and bring four previously unserved destinations into LATAM’s network, with commercial operations scheduled to start on 30 November from São Paulo/Guarulhos.
The aircraft is the first of 12 E195-E2s due for delivery by the end of 2026. A further 12 are planned for 2027, completing LATAM’s firm order for 24 aircraft; the group also holds options for 50 more. The E195-E2 will allow the airline to adjust capacity on markets where larger Airbus aircraft are less suitable and to serve smaller cities with additional regional connectivity.
New services from Guarulhos include Rondonópolis, with seven weekly flights from December; Ji-Paraná and Cabo Frio, with four each; and Macaé, with three from February. Brasília–Ribeirão Preto and Porto Alegre–Campinas will also begin in February, followed by Curitiba–Londrina and Curitiba–Cuiabá in March. The aircraft will increase frequencies on existing routes and replace Airbus aircraft on selected services. LATAM expects the expanded domestic network to reach 67 airports, while further destinations remain under evaluation for 2027.
