KM Malta Airlines has launched a Train + Air partnership with SNCF Voyageurs, linking its flights with TGV INOUI and OUIGO services via Paris Charles-de-Gaulle and Lyon Saint-Exupéry. The combined rail-and-air bookings are available through the airline’s website and mobile app, extending access from Malta to destinations across France and to Brussels.
Through Paris Charles-de-Gaulle, travellers can connect to 25 rail destinations, including Marseille, Bordeaux, Nantes, Rennes, Strasbourg, Lille and Montpellier. The Lyon Saint-Exupéry link covers Avignon, Grenoble, Marseille, Montpellier and Nîmes. The arrangement is designed to simplify itineraries with a single booking for the flight and rail sectors.
Eligible flight or rail disruptions will trigger onward travel arrangements at no extra cost, subject to conditions. The announcement did not specify when Train + Air bookings would actually open.
