ITA Airways to restore third daily Rome–Tel Aviv service from 25 October

ITA Airways will restore a third daily round-trip between Rome Fiumicino and Tel Aviv Ben Gurion from 25 October, returning the route to three frequencies a day. The added service will operate as AZ812 from Rome at 16:00, arriving in Tel Aviv at 20:20 local time, with the return AZ815 leaving Tel Aviv at 08:30 and landing in Rome at 11:20. The route will be flown with an Airbus A321neo in Business Class, Premium Economy and Economy.

The extra frequency increases schedule choice for travellers between Italy and Israel and adds more connecting options through Rome Fiumicino. ITA’s hub offers onward links across its domestic, European and long-haul network, making the later afternoon departure and morning return useful for both point-to-point demand and transfer traffic. The move supplements existing services on the route rather than opening a new destination, underlining a frequency recovery rather than an expansion into a new market.
