Atlas Air, also known as Atlas Aviation Group, has begun operating Tehran–Minsk services with McDonnell Douglas MD-87 aircraft on a recurring charter basis. Flight activity in August showed repeated Sunday rotations between Tehran’s Mehrabad International Airport and Minsk National Airport, creating a direct air link between Iran and Belarus that is not yet widely visible as a standard consumer scheduled route.
The operation appears to straddle the line between scheduled and charter flying. One industry source described it as scheduled Belarus flights, while other coverage characterised it as regular charter service rather than a conventional published route. That distinction matters commercially, as the flights may be aimed at premium, business or organised-group traffic rather than broad online retail distribution.
The available evidence points to a weekly pattern, but public booking details and full frequency remain unclear. Route listings reviewed alongside the reports did not show a typical nonstop Tehran–Minsk service on mainstream booking platforms, suggesting the link may still be sold through limited channels or operated under a charter framework.
