Iberia has unveiled a special commemorative livery for its 100th anniversary, to be applied to one of its Airbus A350-900 aircraft. The design features a large red “100” over the airline’s standard white fuselage and was presented in Madrid as the start of the carrier’s centenary programme.
The launch took place at Espacio Iberia under the slogan “100 Days for 100 Years”, with the anniversary celebrations set to run through 2027. Iberia’s centenary falls on 28 June 2027 and the programme will include events in Spain and Latin America. The airline also tied the centenary plans to wider product and operational work, including renewed long-haul cabin interiors and a broader rollout of Starlink connectivity.
The liveried aircraft has been identified as an A350-900, but no delivery or entry-into-service timing has been disclosed. The simple branding choice underlines Iberia’s focus on fleet identity as it prepares for a milestone year across its network and commercial activity.
