Guinea will launch United Aviation Services as a new private carrier by the end of the first half of 2027, opening with about ten aircraft and a domestic network before moving into West African routes. Transport Minister Ousmane Gaoual Diallo set the plan in Conakry as part of Simandou 2040, alongside the expansion of Ahmed Sékou Touré International Airport and reconstruction of regional fields at Kankan, Labé, Faranah and N’Zérékoré. The strategy gives Guinea a route to rebuild thin internal connectivity, support mining-linked travel demand and create an operator capable of scaling from short sectors to regional missions without waiting for state-led fleet renewal.
