General Aviation Manufacturers Association data for the first half of 2026 show higher deliveries across business jets, turboprops and turbine rotorcraft, with shipments rising despite a mixed market backdrop. Business jet deliveries increased 8.2% to 383 units, turboprop shipments climbed 7.8% to 289, and turbine helicopter deliveries rose 3.3% to 309, alongside stronger airplane and helicopter billings.
The gains were spread across a range of manufacturers in the US and Europe, led in turboprops by Pilatus, Epic, Piper and Textron Aviation. Pilatus added 18 more PC-12 deliveries year on year, while Epic more than doubled E-1000 handovers from seven to 15. Textron’s Caravan and Grand Caravan output softened, but King Air deliveries improved.
In rotorcraft, Leonardo Helicopters and Airbus Helicopters drove much of the growth. Leonardo’s AW189 and AW149 platform gained nine units, while Airbus Helicopters delivered 142 aircraft, including 52 H145s. The report also showed billings rising across both airplanes and helicopters, pointing to firmer revenue activity in the general aviation sector through June.
