GA Telesis is opening a dedicated used serviceable material processing centre in Port St. Lucie, Florida, as it expands distribution capacity to cope with rising demand for aviation parts. The new site will handle components from aircraft and engine disassembly projects before sending them on to approved maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities, while serviced parts re-enter the company’s global network for airlines, lessors and MROs.
The Florida expansion separates USM processing from the main distribution operation in Fort Lauderdale, which will continue handling new and serviceable aviation material. GA Telesis also maintains facilities in Europe and Asia, extending its reach across its parts and logistics network.
The move follows what the company describes as unprecedented growth in both its used serviceable material and new-parts distribution businesses. It is also expected to create jobs in St. Lucie County and broaden GA Telesis’ South Florida aviation and aerospace footprint.
