Fundamental Advisors has bought BlueSky Helicopters, adding five aircraft and pushing its helicopter platform to 24 aircraft. The Southern California operator brings four UH-60 Black Hawks, one Bell 407 and in-house maintenance capability, extending Fundamental’s footprint in aerial firefighting, utility support and other essential aviation work. The deal deepens the firm’s Western U.S. presence and folds BlueSky’s firefighting and infrastructure-focused mission into a broader public service fleet strategy. Financial terms were not disclosed.
