French Navy’s Escadrille 57S receives second Pilatus PC-24

The French Navy’s Escadrille 57S at Landivisiau has taken delivery of its second Pilatus PC-24, bringing the unit closer to a three-aircraft fleet leased through Jet Aviation France. The light business jet, registered F-HJAI, arrived at the end of August as the squadron continues replacing Dassault Falcon 10MER aircraft used for training and liaison work.

The contract for three PC-24s was sealed in late August 2025 and spans roughly ten years. The first aircraft entered service in March 2026, while a third and final jet is expected in the coming months. Until that arrives, three Falcon 10MER aircraft are still due to remain in service.

The PC-24s support instrument-flight training for naval aviators, liaison missions and light transport duties from the Brittany base. The move gives the French Navy a Swiss-built platform outside the traditional domestic supply chain, and provides Pilatus with a visible reference in French military utility operations.
