Five Rivers Aviation has expanded beyond California after winning the tender to become the sole service provider at Central Wyoming Regional Airport in Riverton, Wyoming. The move gives the business aviation fixed-base operator a full-service presence at KRIW, where ground handling, fuel supply and deicing are included among the services available to visiting aircraft.
The airport’s FBO complex includes a 10,000-square-foot heated hangar sized for light jets and turboprops, alongside a fuel farm with capacity for 15,000 gallons each of Jet-A and avgas. KRIW’s main runway measures 8,200 feet, and the airport lies about 120 miles east of Jackson, placing it within the regional network used by business aviation traffic across Wyoming and neighbouring markets.
Five Rivers had operated the only FBO at Livermore Municipal Airport in California before securing the Riverton contract. The shift extends its footprint into a new state through a sole-provider arrangement, consolidating its role at the airport and broadening its operational reach beyond its original West Coast base.
