The Federal Aviation Administration has introduced a new interactive website designed to give the public detailed visibility into more than 10,000 air traffic control modernization projects underway across the United States. Transportation Secretary Sean P. Duffy and FAA Administrator Bryan Bedford unveiled the platform ahead of the busy Memorial Day travel period, describing it as a tool to show how federal funds are being deployed in the national airspace system.
The site aggregates data on projects funded with an initial $12.5 billion allocation from the One Big Beautiful Bill, which is being used to replace core infrastructure such as radar, software, hardware, and telecommunications equipment at over 4,600 sites nationwide. According to the FAA, the data will be updated monthly to provide ongoing transparency into spending and progress.
Key features include a project summary explaining major initiatives and expected safety and efficiency benefits, an interactive map displaying project locations by workstream and state, and a local impact search function that allows users to query by city, state, airport code, ZIP code, or congressional district. The platform also offers a progress tracker that shows what work has been completed and what is planned over the next 30 days.
