Etihad Guest has launched a frequent-flyer partnership with STARLUX Airlines’ COSMILE programme, opening redemption access across both carriers’ networks. From 11 August, Etihad Guest members can use miles for STARLUX flights in Business and Economy cabins, including services to destinations in Asia, North America and Europe such as Los Angeles, Phoenix, Seattle, Okinawa, Kobe and Nagoya.
The tie-up extends a commercial relationship that already includes a codeshare agreement signed in June 2025 and Etihad’s direct Taipei service launched last year. Etihad plans full reciprocal earning and redemption from October, allowing Etihad Guest members to earn miles on STARLUX flights and COSMILE members to earn and redeem across Etihad’s network of more than 100 destinations.
The partnership deepens access for both loyalty schemes without changing the airlines’ operating fleets, but it gives Etihad Guest members a wider long-haul redemption option and later brings STARLUX customers into Etihad’s global network. Mileage pricing, booking rules and channel availability were not disclosed.
