Emirates and Arsenal have unveiled The Aircrafted Arsenal Crest, a 2.4-metre illuminated sculpture made from upcycled parts sourced from Emirates Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft. Created by Emirates Engineering in Dubai and flown to London, the permanent installation now sits in Emirates’ hospitality space at Emirates Stadium, marking 20 years of the partnership between the airline and the club and its extension through 2033.
The crest combines aviation components with Arsenal branding, using an A380 wheel hub and titanium bleed-air duct in the cannon, Boeing 777 fuselage skin in the shield and aircraft windows shaped into the lettering with integrated lighting. Emirates completed the project in-house with a team of 15 engineers, designers, mechanics, technicians and painters over 34 days, then painted it in Arsenal’s colours before installation.
The display links Emirates’ aircraft upcycling programme with a high-profile sponsorship asset at one of football’s best-known stadiums. The carrier has not disclosed any commercial value for the work, and the installation is described as a permanent feature rather than a temporary exhibit.
